So i think i figured out what kind of focus i would like to have in Outreach. I think that i want to do more holistic ministry. Which means that i would work on helping to take care of the needs of a community and through that do outreach. I kind of figured this out while i was in Nicaragua. I saw how much some of the communities had gotten help from people through teaching them how to make medicines and introducing them to appropriate technology and the relationships the communities built with the people who helped them. I thought how effective a ministry could be through these people. First fulfill their basic needs and help them to become self sufficient and then through those relationships that you built introduce them to the Gospel. So this is my new idea. This semester i'm going to do some research on it and a lot of praying and see if it's my calling. Who knows?
