Got God?

So yesterday was our big easter egg hunt and carnival for the kiddos at church. We had a ton of people come and most weren't even members of the church (which is awesome! yay for outreach!) The youth helped with it and so did Prisms from school. It was a really fun event and very inspiring. it was good to see an event go really well. The youth were so funny. it's about 5 girls and 1 boy and oh my do the girls like him! Oh to be in junior or senior high again! They were so funny. The girls told his mom they thought he was hot. I was kind of amazed on that one. I would have never said something like that, but these girls have no shame for what they say, it's kind of funny actually.
Anyhow after church today i talked with a couple of the girls and asked if they were going to bible study and they said they would then realized it wasn't a very cool one and said they'd go home. i wish we had more youth oriented things. They are spiritually hungry but we just aren't feeding them. So i think the next time i'm there on a sunday i'm going to have some kind of bible study prepared for them or even just spend the time hanging out with them and getting to know them more so at a later date i can have a good bible study for them that's really geared towards their lives. Something cool about these girls is that they all come without a parent, they all want to be here on their own. That's awesome and also kind of sad, they have no spiritual guidance in their home. For the most part i know what it's like and the only reason i really stayed connected to the church during that time in my life was my sister and our decent youth program. So i really want to help try and figure something out for these kids. They need some guidance and i would like to help them with it.
