Dad had his surgery today. They removed his prostate and said that one of the tumors they removed was not cancerous and one was. They said there should be no more signs of cancer in his body now, but we will see. His srugery took a little longer than it usually does, and he lost a little more blood, but they told him that this was a possiblity beforehand and he's fine now. He's still kind of doped up on medicine, but he'll be okay. He'll be in the hospital until thursday and his staples come out next wednesday. So he will be doing just fine by the time i get home for Easter.

Thank you for healing us when we are wounded and relieving the pain that is in our lives. Thank you Lord for the advancement in medical procedures so much so that major surgery has become routine and mundane. Thank you for watching over my father while he was in surgery today and for guiding the doctor's hands. Be with my father as he recovers and be with his friends and family in supporting my dad through this time.
