Thursday and Friday of my long weekend were spent redecorating Tier Zero (a student lounge) and now it looks Fantastic!
Saturday was spent doing a little homework, watching the last five minutes of the Badgers vs. Gophers game (which was also Fantastic!) and going to work. After work i met Matt at Williams Peanut Bar for a couple drinks. it was a really fun time. It was nice to be able to catch up with him about what's been going on in the last few years. Some needed apolpogies were said and it was just a good time. It was interesting to be around someone who knows my basic personality and quirks so well but to have to go over all the life details stuff again. Anyhow, it was fun.
Sunday started off fine. I was a little hungover and really tired when i got to church, but made it through. I did some whomework and napped off the hangover when i got home. I got to work a little early so i went to White Rock to grab some coffee. The girls made it for me and i chatted with them for a minute or so after i got my drink and no one rang me up, so i thought they were giving it to me and i left. 3 minutes later Joe comes storming in and yells and swears at me for not paying for my drink and expecting to get it for free (which i didn't expect!) Anyhow, i told him i would pay for it and when i walked in to pay for it i told him that he didn't have to be rude about it, he could have asked me calmly to pay for my drink and that i was very sorry about the mix-up. He said he wasn't the one mad, the girls were mad. (Granted the f-bomb was thrown into that sentence about 5 times). So i apologized to the girls and paid for my drink and tipped them. They apologized (and i don't really know why) and i left. I was near tears for the first hour of my shift. I know that i shouldn't have been but i was. It put me in such a bad mood for the rest of the night. Now i'm better and i think i will go in and re-apologize to the girls, so they know that i am not expecting free drinks at all and that i don't want them to think i am trying to rip them off. Oh the drama of quitting somewhere.
