Feeling Unprepared

After talking in class about Personal Witnessing, i am think that the DCO program is about 10-20 years behind the times. We are being taught how to witness to the Baby Boomer generation and what "works" in their generation, but from experience that is definitely not who i have been given the opportunity to witness to. I get to witness to my friends, my co-workers and other teenage/college age people. Things are completely different then. Concerns, cares, and problems are all different in the Gen X generation. I just feel like my professors aren't actually preparing us for the minisitry we are going to do. They are preparing us for the ministry that they did.
I am feeling very inadequete right now. I know that God does the work in all of this and He will give me the opportunities to witness and the right things to say, but i just feel like i'm lacking something.

Dear Lord,
Only you know what happens in the hearts of people and only you have the power to show people your love. I ask that you give me comfort in that and that you work through whatever i may say so that your will is worked out.
