I went 36 hours without eating. The Famine went well this weekend. The kids were great, essentially drama free. They liked the games we played and were pretty receptive to the Bible studies. All in all, fun was had by all.
I am still completely amazed by how much crap teenagers go through and are exposed to in today's society. These kids have been through harder times than i can even imagine. It just amazes me! God has given them so much strength and perserverance. I am so blessed to know these kids. They give me hope for future generations and the future church. If these kids can come out of these terrible situations with an unshaking faith in God so can other youth and so can our church.
Father God,
You are amazing! You work through the feeblest people (me) and you do so much. Thank you for stirring the hearts of our youth this weekend and please continue to stir in their hearts. Work through them so that they may do your will.
