Saturday i had to go to my second corporate training session. It was somewhat ridiculous. The guy who leads it reminds me of Chris Farley from the motivational speaker SNL skit, except this guy's not as funny (or funny at all). He wants us to nod at the customers while we ask them if they want appetizers/dessert, because if our head is nodding, then their head will nod and they will agree to buy appetizers/dessert. it seems like he wants us to trick people into buying more. Lame!
Other news, my weekend was good. friday and saturday night was spent watching movies with the girls. It was nice to just hang out with the girls and order pizza and watch movies. Saturday day was spent at training and then Johann and i went to Nina's and did homework for a bit. Sunday morning was spent at church. Heidi and i spent some time after church ironing out the details for our lock in next weekend. i think that the 30 Hour Famine is coming together. Planning a huge event isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Let's just hope it all works out. Last night was spent at the Local doing movieoke with Stella, Matt and Bob. It was way fun. And i got a cool key chain and they all got t-shirts. Yay for free stuff!
