All things will be revealed in God's time

I talked to Tom Henning, the current DCO intern at Good Shepherd. He told me that my internship isn't official yet. The church council hasn't voted on having an intern yet. So i don't quite know where i stand yet. Tom said it shouldn't be much to worry about, the church council just takes a while.
He also told me about some of the things that he oversees at the church, which means these are things that i might oversee. Some of them are: visitor follow-up, working with social organizations in the community, meeting people in the community, & personal witnessing training. It was good to hear some of the ways that he does visitor follow-up and i am excited about the opportunities and challenges that i will find at the congregation.
He also let me know about how he and Bonnie got out there. (they drove and took a week to get out there and made stops on the way.) He also told me where he lives (which i found that it is one fo the cheaper apartments in the area, and it's really nice.)
I am feeling somewhat more settled about it, and in some ways less settled (mainly because it's not official yet). I just have to keep reminding myself that God will provide for me, like he always has.
