I'm at my random christian ministry/coffee shop/acoustic music night job thing. It's boring right now. No one is here, except me and the music intern guy. But on the positive side, they fixed up the other room and turned it into the cafe area so now it looks more like a coffee shop and less like an old kitchen. It's just too bad no one is here to enjoy it.
So i stopped biting my nails. i have been clean for 5 days now! This is amazing for me! The last time i "stopped" biting my nails is when i got my wisdom teeth pulled and i couldn't bite down without pain.
Internship things are coming along...a bit. Pastor answered a couple of my questions and the ones he didn't answer i know he heard and will get back to me with the answers. My parents offered to help me buy a car, and i was really excited about that prospect, but now i heard that the church has a car for me to use, so i might do that and just fly out there. I don't need car payments right now. And it will limit how much stuff i bring out there. Which then means no pretty cross country drive, but oh well.
Also found out the exact dates Tia and Andy will come visit me. I am so excited for that (and kind of nervous). I'm nervous about Tia seeing me in an actual ministry setting. I know that's weird, but in a lot of ways she has brought me here and i'm afraid i will disappoint her. I know that this is silly. And i know that God worked through her to reach me and so it is actually God that brought me here. I also know that if i made sandcastles at the edge of the ocean for the rest of my life she would be proud of me, but whatever.
Anyhow, only a few days left of classes, and then a few exams. I actually don't think this end of the semester will be so hard for me. And i think i pulled my C in Stohlmann's class up to a B. Yay! Now if only i could do that with Church and Ministry.
Well i think some people are here now, so i'm going to go do something productive.

1. I would LOVE to make sandcastles with you for the rest of our lives! lets quit this job thing. dork, i am excited to see you in action. i haven'r been able to yet. and you encourage me as much as it seems i have encouraged you. so there.

Good to hear you finally got more info about the internship!! I know it was stressing you out a bit. And also excited to hear that your nail biting medicine is working :)
