Since my last update was boring, this one will be full of exciting stuff. (Okay maybe not so exciting to you, but exciting to me.)
First off, yesterday was Warped Tour and it was fantastic! Steven and I got there just about the time when the bands started playing and stayed until the last band played. We saw some great bands, some that I’ve seen many times before and are old favorites and a couple which might be new favorites. Here’s the list (in order of appearance)
Gym School Heroes, The Academy Is (my high school friend is in this band, if you check out their website, he's the one in the middle fixing his cuff), Anti-Flag, Dropping Daylight, The Buzzcocks, The Casualties, Against Me, Less Than Jake, Motion City Soundtrack, Bouncing Souls, and last but certainly not least NOFX. I think that’s all of them.
I bought a Dropping Daylight CD (they have a keyboard!) and a Gym Class Heroes CD which kind of reminds me of Atmosphere.
The highlight of the day was seeing the new bands, or appreciating bands I have seen before that I never really paid attention to before like Anti-Flag.
Okay enough about Warped Tour, onto other stuff.
I got an e-mail from my internship pastor today. He found an apartment for me and I think signed the lease and whatnot. I will be living at Brentwood Apartments. This is where the current intern and his wife live. They like it, so I’m excited. Things are really coming along for internship. I can’t wait! Yay for new things, new places, new experiences and new opportunities to grow in my faith and share my faith!
Oh and lastly, my one-week long Master’s class started today. It should be good! There are a lot of different people with different backgrounds in the class. I’m actually excited to learn!

Awww Kali! You make me smile. I miss you tons. btw are you in town already?? Because there was a girl who totally looked like you walking with another girl by the lake the other day. The "you" girl in question was wearing the most comfy looking skirt and tank combo I have ever seen.
