Saturday i moved into my place. Incidentally it was my birthday as well. My apartment is pretty sweet. It's totally 70's and i'm gonna rock it! I don't have anything on the walls yet, i'm working on that. I just sent some pics to Walmart to get printed. I realized that i don't have many pictures of me and my friends, so if you have any good pics of me and you, e-mail me with them so i can put them on my walls. I have a cute little patio that i have already made into my breakfast nook (because breakfast is the only time it is really nice to sit outside, so i drink my coffee and eat my breakfast out there).
Saturday i went over to Pastor's for dinner and Kay, a lady in the congregation, who has kind of made me an adopted grandchild, came over as well, and brought me a birthday cake. It was a lot of fun. I really like my Pastor and his family.
Sunday was my first church service. I went to late church, which is traditional service for them. It was really nice. Pastor made me stand and he introduced me. Lots of people introduced themselves to me. Lots of people also questioned why i would ever live in the midwest (which they call "back east"). It's kind of funny.
Sunday night I went to see the Taming of the Shrew at the Cal-State Stanislaus County (the college around here), with Pastor and his family. They did it in the college's ampitheater. It was way cool. I really enjoyed it. It was beautiful out and i really enjoyed the show itself. They did a very good job of it.
Today wasn't too exciting. I spent most of my morning on the phone getting my electric, gas, cable, and phone hooked up. Not too exciting.
