Mom called me last night and had some bad news about my grandma. On friday she had went into the hospital because of some pain and they couldn't figure out what was causing it. She was sent home sunday with some morphine pills and i guess they figured out where the pain was coming from. She has a huge tumor in her liver. She isn't doing well. The doctors say they can't do anything else for her and gave her only a couple weeks left.
This weekend i am going home and we are having a party at grandma's. It will probably be the last time i see her. I've known she has cancer for over a year now, but it just never clicked that it would get the best of her. I always thought she was invincible. I guess i just never wanted to admit that one day she won't be around.
Anyhow, keep my family and my grandma in your prayers. I know the Lord will take her pain away, but i know how much pain it will cause my family.
