Surprise visit!

Jamie arrived here on Friday and left on Tuesday. It was a short trip but was fantastic! I'll give you a run down of the activities:

Friday: picked her up from SFO and headed to Pier 39 to show her around a little. On the way home, we hit up an In N' Out burger, because it's the best fast food place ever.

Saturday: I had a Groups Ablaze training in Rocklin, so Jamie headed to San Francisco to do some site seeing. We met up at night and went for some good Mexican food and margaritas.

Sunday: Church (i did my first children's sermon ever!), which Jamie came to. Then we went to Latif's for brunch. After we were all fat and sassy we hit up the hot tub to make us feel more relaxed. Then we went to my church picnic, where Jamie helped me out with the kids games and she was the best prize girl ever. I got to be a judge in our chocolate contest, so i got to try 12 different chocolate desserts and decide which one was the best. Then we had a fantastic potluck. Sunday was capped off with a trip to the Tiki Bar and Aqua Shi, which is a great sushi restaurant.

Monday: After sleeping in a bit we headed out to Murphys to Ironstone Vineyards. It was an adventure getting there. My car overheated about 3 miles away from the vineyard. Apparently my car doesn't like being in the hot, hot sun and going over hills. But it cooled down and it was okay. The vineyard was great and the wine was tastey. Then once we got home monday night we made one last stop at In N' Out for dinner.

Tuesday: was spent driving to SFO and dropping Jamie off, then back home for me where i spent the rest of the day sleeping in my bed or watching tv on my couch.
It was a fantastic weekend and i am so thankful that Jamie came out to visit.
