Monday Monday

Lots has happened in the last 2 weeks. Stella visited, Tia and Andy visited. Stella's visit and Tia and Andy's visit was so different. Stella and i traveled lots of places and did lots of things, but with Tia and Andy we just hung out and did normal stuff, like go to Target or the grocery store. Both visits were great, and in some ways both remind me of the person visiting. Stella and i are usually doing something when we hang out or exploring some new coffee shop, bar or store. When tia and i hang out, we run errands together and sit in our pjs until noon and do the crossword puzzle and eat cereal. I am thankful for all 3 visitors.
Because of my visitors these past 2 weeks, i haven't worked much and when i came in today i felt out of the loop and was nervous about pastor and my meeting today. But it was a great meeting. He asked me if i thought concordia prepared me for internship and we talked about how i have been having trouble filling my time. it was so good to have him understand my struggles. I now know that it's okay for things to be slow for me, as long as i'm still trying to learn and do something. I am lucky to have this as my internship. I have an understanding pastor who's easy to talk to, a congregation who has the mission mindset (we just need to work a little harder on the action) and a community with endless opportunities. God is good and knows what he's doing.
