Fun Times

I should be working on preparing my lesson for adult bible class tomorrow, but instead i am going to update my blog. Anyone surprised? I didn't think so.
Last night i had fun! it's been a while since i had fun here. I went to a hockey game last night with a bunch of people from church. I organized it and 30+ people came from church. The game was the Stockton Thunder vs. the Bakersfield Condors (minor league teams). I went with Lisa and her two girls. By the end of the night Gracie, who is 6, became my best friend. Gracie kept forgetting who we were cheering for so she'd lean over and whisper "What's the yellow and black team's name again?" and i'd tell her that it's the Thunder and then she'd yell at the top of her 6 year old lungs "Go Thunder!" which sounded like "Go Funder!". It was great! Sometimes i forget that i like being around little kids. Anyhow the game was fun, even though we lost. But i had a lot of fun because everyone from church was having fun, which makes such a difference.
Well now back to preparing my lesson for tomorrow.

Actually one of the members of my church gave me the idea (and he helped me organize it). And we don't do a lot of fellowship events outside of church, so i thought it was time that we try it and see how it goes. And it went quite well.
