So i went home on wednesday to hang out with brian before he leaves for Thailand. It was a good time. I didn't get to spend anytime with just him but at least we rolled with a smaller group of people than usual so i actually got to talk with him a bit. I'm really going to miss that kid. it's so weird having him leave. I mean, it's not unusual for him to leave the midwest or even the country but when he did before i wasn't that close to him, or i left with him. Now it's weird because next time i am home he won't be there to go drinking with or watch Nickolodeon GAS and bet on double dare. It's so strange to know that he won't be there waiting for me every time i am in Milwaukee. But him leaving does provide me with one great opportunity: i can go to London and stay for free, which i am planning on doing at Thanksgiving break.
Besides me being sad that Brian is leaving, being home was okay. Dad had to go to Aurora, IL for Toyota school so mom and i spent some time together. I also got to see Grandma which is good. She is doing so well. When she first gets her chemo shots she is pretty worn out but after about a week she is back in tip-top shape. Way to go Grandma!
I really want to talk to mom about a few things while i was home, well actually every time i am home i want to talk to her about some stuff, but i'm never home long enough to bring it up at an appropriate time. It's so hard. it makes me not want to be home sometimes. but i can't run away from it. someone needs to talk to her about it. sometimes i feel like a parent to my parents and it gets exhausting. i guess that's why i don't stay home when i go to milwaukee and am always out and about.
anyways, monday i am having a memorial day cookout so if any of you who are reading this and are in MN you are welcome to join me as long as it doesn't rain.
