Yesterday i had a picnic, well Ginger and i had a picnic, for Memorial Day. We had it across from campus and it was way fun. I just randomly invited whoever i thought was around the cities for the summer and it turned out well. There were about 10 people there and tons and tons of food! i told everyone to bring something, and i thought everyone would take the cheap way out and buy a bag of chips or something, but no, everyone pulled through with flying colors! We had so much meat we couldn't even eat it all.
On another note, i bought my plane ticket to LA and back. I re-went through my travel information and realized that my trip will be shorter than i expected. it leave for LA on June 25th and come back on August 1st. I thought it was June 20th-August 10th. So now i have alittle more time to recoop from jetlag and all that good stuff before i start RA training.
I am upset that i still do not know what city i will be in while in China. I would really like to know so i can start researching it a little bit before i go. But oh well, all of China is foreign to me, it doesn't really matter where in the country i end up.
On one more note, i get to see Sarah Johnson...i mean Mueller today!!!!! She is in town for her little brother's wedding and we are going to get some coffee before i go to work! I am so excited! i haven't seen her since her wedding day last June. that was so long ago.
oh well, off to meet her now.
