So as you might have guessed from the title of this entry that i will be going to Nanning, China in 25 Days. Nanning is in the Guangxi Providence in the Southern region of China. It is surrounded by mountains and the average temperature is 88 degrees (!)
I will be teaching at a middle school which is located on the Guangxi University of Nationalities. There are about 320 middle school students there and there are 11 of us American Teachers coming to that school.
I will be leaving in an apartment with my fellow female teachers on the University campus. The apartments, i'm told, are old but nice. They have western toliets, hot water and Air-Conditioning!!! And all the other usual apartmenty stuff.
The campus has a lake in the middle of it and the paths are lined with trees and shrubs. It sounds gorgeous and i am so excited to be going.

Give me a strength to be a teacher to these Chinese children. Give me the wisdom and the knowledge to help these students in their studies and in their faith. Give me the strength and humbleness to live in and adapt to a different culture. But above all Lord, thank you for this opportunity to do your will!
