There's some fun to be had

Last night i had dinner at Jen and Troy's house. She is our Director of Youth Ministries. It was a lot of fun. They are a great couple and i think they will be a great support system for me. Jen has a lot of things she would like me to help with. All of them i'm up for. Some are directly outreach oriented, others are just fun. Here's the list so far:

1. Be a chaperone for the National Youth Gathering
2. Be a chaperone for Petal Pushers (which means i get to go to DisneyLand!)
3. Help with Harvest Fest (our Halloween Festival)
   
4. Maybe help plan a youth mission trip/servant event
   

I'm pretty excited about all of them. I like youth, and i like working with others, so teaming up with Jen could be great. But i have to remember i am here to serve the whole congregation, not just the youth.
